Mary Ellen Box Rogers

Mary Ellen Box Rogers of Jacksonville was born May 29, 1949 to the late Walter Brodie Box and Lizzie Blackwell Box. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lois Geraldine Lundquist, two newborn sons, and their father, Buck Rogers. She is survived by a sister, Gladys Rosenberger, two nieces, Liz Justice and Cindy Berry. Also, two nephews, Keith Lundquist (Christa) and Bryan Lundquist. She has many grandnieces and nephews who filled the grandchildren role for her and affectionately referred to her as "Aunt Elle". She spent many years as a hairdresser before working for AAFES for many years in which she retired. She never got over losing her best friend, LeRoy Johnson, and we are sure they are cutting up now. Special thanks to Mark Brasseur and Marguarite Umholtz for their commitment to their dear friend. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
