Larry Remsing Sr.

A celebration of life will be held for Larry Remsing Sr. at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Latch Baptist Church in Gilmer. Larry Michael Remsing, Sr. was born February 24, 1948 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a resident of Holly Lake Ranch. Larry retired from the US Geological Survey as a Hydro Tech. He was an avid fisherman and bowler, receiving many awards during his bowling career. He was also an avid NASCAR fan. He was an active member of Latch Baptist Church until his health prevented him from attending. Larry went home to be with Jesus at the age 69 on June 26, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charylne and John Remsing and his brother, David Remsing. He leaves behind his wife, Lucy Remsing of Holly Lake Ranch, Texas; five children, Tina Remsing Johnson, Larry Remsing Jr., Catherine Fohl of Holly Lake Ranchm Texas, Michael McCann of Springdale, Ark., and Ryan McCann of Longview, Texas; eight grandchildren including Brennah, Megan and John Fohl; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Steve Remsing of Maumelle, Ark., Matt Remsing of Little Rock, Ark., and John Remsing of Austin, Texas; and sister, Anna Remsing of Cabot, Ark.
