Hazel Weaver

Hazel Weaver, 96, of Magnolia, Ark., formerly of Stephens, Ark., passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Magnolia Health and Rehabilitation Center. Hazel was born on July 30, 1920 in Stephens, Ark. to the late Charles P and Ruby (Cook) Hughes. She was a longtime residence of Stephens and attended the First United Methodist Church in Stephens where she was the pianist for over 35 years. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; husband Louie Francis Weaver; granddaughter Ginger Sanders; sister, Billie Ervin; brother Ted Hughes; and son-in-law, Wesley Byrd. She is survived by her son, Gary F. Weaver of Conway, Ark.; daughter Carolyn Byrd of Clinton, Ark.; grandchildren, Stephen Weaver and wife Susan of New Braunfels, Texas, Reed Weaver and wife Tammy of Conway, Ark., and Christi Sanders of Conway, Ark.; great-grandchildren, Coleman Weaver of New Braunfels, Texas, Anna Weaver of New Braunfels, Texas, Grace Weaver of Conway, Ark., Shelby Sanders of Little Rock, Ark., Katie Collie of Rogers, Ark., Nikki Sanders of Camden, Ark., and Aubrey Weaver of Conway, Ark. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at the Stephens Cemetery with Rev. Cedric Walters officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia, Ark.
