U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Herman (Glenn) Bonds Jr., 65, born in Prescott, Arkansas, set sail on his final voyage October 29th 2017. Preceded in death by his father, Rev. Herman Bonds Sr., mother, Jean P Bonds, and brother Tommy Bonds. His spiritual faith was Methodist. He resided in Little Rock where he leaves behind his wife of over 37 years, Karen Bonds, three daughters: Leigh Anderson (Chuck), Leslie McKinney (Rich), and Heather Derby (Nick) and four grandchildren, William, Katie, Rebecca and Lily. He spent his childhood growing up in south Arkansas where he made so many friends who shared the same passion for music. Traveling from school to school as a teenager playing music was one of his fondest memories. The music continued as an adult. After he graduated high school, he enlisted in the US Navy. He was caring and loving of his family, as a husband and a father, as this was his most important job of all. He loved traveling, fishing, video games, cooking and time with family and friends. A visitation and celebration will be held in his honor at the home that he and his wife shared, on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 2 p.m.
