Marianne Lenderman Webb, of Marshall, Texas, formerly of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 16, 2017 in Marshall, Texas. She was born August 31, 1932 in Wattinsaw, Arkansas, and was married to Thomas D. Webb in 1955 until his death in 1994. Marianne is survived by her daughters, Sandi Parks and husband, Don of Marshall and Shari Walker and husband, Steve of Shalimar, Florida; one granddaughter, Leigh Louton and husband, Eric of Hot Springs, Arkansas; one grandson, Jess Orsburn and wife, Alexia, of Ulan Bator, Mongolia; one great-granddaughter, Ainsley Louton of Hot Springs; step-grandsons, Jason Walker, Dustin Walker; step-great-grandsons; Kyle Louton and Jonathan Batmunkh; sister Nancy McKinney of Tennessee; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ada Thweatt Lenderman and Earl Hobart Lenderman; her husband, Tom; and her sister, Sue Spence. Mrs. Webb worked for many years as office manager for Dr. P.R. Anderson in Arkadelphia before becoming a homemaker. Upon Tom's retirement, they moved to Cabot, Arkansas where they established and operated Marianne's Hallmark Shoppe for many years. Later in life, she worked as receptionist for First Baptist Church, and then as the secretary to the Fire Chief of the Cabot Fire Department, her most favorite career choice of all. She graduated Cabot High School and Ouachita Baptist College with a degree in home economics. It was there she met fellow student Tom Webb. Her love of cooking, and particularly baking, provided many of her friends and family with memories, and recipes, of some of her delicious treats. She was known for her quick wit, her love of her family, particularly her grandchildren, and her church family where she served in many capacities including pianist, and other leadership positions. It should also be noted that Marianne was devoted to the University of Arkansas Razorbacks, and rarely missed any game televised, and many in person. A memorial service for Mrs. Webb will be held Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Cabot, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at the church. Private burial was in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the ministry of The CenturyMen Men's Chorus, c/o The CenturyMen, 1610 Russell Avenue, Jefferson City, Tenn. 37760.
