Alan Ray Jeter, 55, of Russellville, died Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at his residence. A son of Donald & Betty (Sizemore) Jeter, Alan was born April 16, 1962, in El Dorado, Arkansas. He was a mechanic with G. Ray Baker Trucking of Russellville, and enjoyed fishing, collecting knives, rebuilding cars & motorcycles, and watching western movies. Alan was preceded in death by his mother; a sister, Vicky Jeter; a brother, Donald Jeter Jr., and a sister-in-law, Jackie Jeter. His survivors include his father, Donald Jeter Sr.; and his brother, Simko Jeter both of Texas; two nephews, Tommy Cathey of Russellville, and Dillion Jeter of Marshall; three nieces, Andrea Wolfe (Joe) of Russellville; Faith Hallinan of Atkins; and, Harley Jeter of Texas; an uncle, Eddie Sizemore of Hot Springs; and other relatives.
