Casa Hardee Jerrels, 77, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away November 6, 2017. He was born October 12, 1940, in Bronson, Florida, to James and Cassie Lee (Hardee) Jerrels. He graduated from Bronson High School in 1958 and then served his country in the Air Force. He met and married the love of his life Cheryl in 1964. In 1975 he graduated with honors from the University of Arizona with a bachelors in Landscape Architecture. After graduating he began working for the US Forest Service where he worked until his retirement in 1998. Hardee was a member of National Park Church and served many years as a deacon and elder. He loved God, his family and friends with all his heart. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, grilling and laughing till his sides hurt. Hardee was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Joe Beal. Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Ann Jerrels; son, Hardee David Jerrels (Memory); daughter, Alissa Land (Tommy) all of Hot Springs; brother, Jimmy Jerrels (Patti) of Bronson, Florida; sister, Adene Beal of Crawfordville, Florida; grandchildren, Michael Land (Brittany), Justin Land (Elizabeth Early), Myles Jerrels; great-grandchildren, Zoey and Sam Land; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. A celebration of Hardee's life will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel with Jay Justus officiating. Burial will follow at Hollywood Cemetery. Pallbearers include Joe David Young, Harry Westerholm, Mike Mayberry, and Roger Hathcock. Honorary pallbearers are Dale Justus, Bobby Hampton, Al Qualls Jr. and Cliff Bates. Special Thanks to Kindred Hospice, Quapaw Nursing Home and the members of National Park Church for all their love, care and support during Hardee's long illness.
