Faye Mizell

Faye Mizell, 90, of Corning passed away Nov. 7, 2017 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo. Mrs. Mizell was retired from Basler Electric where she was a blueprint supervisor. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, First Baptist Church in Corning and a past Matron of Order of the Eastern Star. On April 6, 1947, she married Marion Lowell Mizell. He preceded her in death on Dec. 20, 2003. Survivors include her son Les Mizell of Pine Bluff; grandchildren Jessica (Dan) Cline and Ashley (Derrick) Jacobs; and great-grandson, Felix. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Peter Edwin and Goldie Bertha (Hicks) Fickert; brothers, Claude and Tom Fickert; sisters, Hilda Holland, Kate Wertenberger, and Christine Law; and grandson, Christopher Blake Mizell. Visitation will be Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home with Rev. Josh Raspberry officiating.
