Harold Strange

Harold G. Strange, 91, of White Hall, passed away, Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017. Born July 19, 1926, at Stamps, Ark., he was a son of the late Oliver G. Strange and Lily Mae Nichols Strange. He graduated from White Hall High School before serving in the United States Navy during World War II. A great husband, father and provider, Mr. Strange was a charter member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. He retired from the Pine Bluff Arsenal after 23 years of service. He had previously worked for Ben Pearson for more than 20 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Peggy Lee Madison Strange; and six siblings. He is survived by his children, H. Glen Strange Jr. (Carroll), Barry Strange (Anita), and Steven Strange (Lesa); grandchildren, Scott Strange, Erin Parnell, Melanie Thornton, Seth Strange and Bradley Strange; eight great-grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, Nov. 14, 10 a.m. at St. Luke United Methodist Church with Reverend Barbara Douglas and Reverend James Conn officiating. Interment will follow in Brown Cemetery.
