Charles D. Anderson, 86, of North Little Rock went to be with his Savior, Sunday, November 12, 2017. He was born April 12, 1931 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to Martin and Grace Marby Anderson. He was a combat veteran in the Air Force surviving the Korean Campaign then went on to retire from the U.S. Army Medical Corp. Following his retirement he was led to take care of Veterans at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. He is survived by two sons, Randy (Cindy) Anderson and LTC Ronnie (Donna) Anderson, USA, Retired; six grandchildren, Msgr. Adam (Lindsey) Anderson, Amber Anderson, Tech Sergeant Aaron (Bonnie) Anderson, Meredith Anderson, Dan Kuykendall and Jeff (Michelle) Kuykendall; six great-grandchildren, Grace, Sophia, Aida, Amelia and Bin Anderson and James Kuykendall; and his cherished brother-in-law, Chris Graham, Sr. and nephew Chris Graham, II. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Martha Anderson and his sister, JoAnn Graham. The family gratefully acknowledges the physicians, nurses, and staff on 6D/Palliative Care at the John McClellan Veterans Hospital. The staff worked hard and was respectful in granting the family's request in a timely and professional manner to make our dad comfortable in his last days.
