William Rudolph Stephenson

William Rudolph Stephenson, age 73, of Searcy, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 9, 2017 in Searcy. He was born May 21, 1944 in Martin, Tennessee to Roland Cook "Steve" Stephenson and Louise Stallcup Stephenson. He was a veteran of the US Army National Guard and worked as a Senior Industrial Engineer for GI Industries in Bald Knob for many years. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Shirley C. Stephenson of Searcy; one daughter, Laura Stephenson Bolding and husband Todd of Alpena, Arkansas; and three grandsons, Brock Bolding, Bennett Bolding and Blake Bolding (his 3B's). He is preceded in death by his parents, Roland Cook "Steve" Stephenson and Louise Stallcup Stephenson; paternal grandparents, Sherman Rudolph Stephenson and Lillian Cook Stephenson; and maternal grandparents, William Dwight Stallcup and Ina Mae Stallcup. A Celebration Service will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home.
