Gary W. Brooks

Gary W. Brooks, 68, of North Little Rock went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 13, 2017. He was born August 15, 1949 in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He was an avid golfer at Burns Park and a longtime member of Park Hill Baptist Church. Gary is survived by his mother and stepdad, Doris and Gene Robbins; wife of 24 years, Jill Brooks; children, Bryan Brooks (Shannon), Whitney Taylor (Jason), and Blake Brooks; grandchildren, Noah and Avery Brooks, Madison Alford, Reece and Channing Williams, Hannah, Mattie and Neely Taylor; sister, Terri Frazier (Mark) and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Judson Brooks; his grandmother, Gladys Brooks; and sister, Patti Burt. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Park Hill Baptist Church, 201 East C. Ave, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street.
