Helen Carol Hartwick

Helen Carol Worley Hartwick, age 73, of Russellville, passed away on Nov. 17, 2017. She was born Nov. 12, 1944, in Bald Knob, to Carroll G. Worley and Gladys "Muffett" Worley. Helen loved life. She loved her family fiercely, and saw the beauty and strength in those she loved, even when they couldn't see it in themselves. After raising her kids, she set out on an adventure with Roy she could've only imagined, and one she richly deserved. When others slowed their pace and slipped into quiet lives of leisure, Helen hit life full speed...she started riding horses, hunting, fishing, and camping, and raising and running beagles. With her body or in her heart, she also never quit dancing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll G. and Gladys "Muffett" Worley; her brother, Don Franklin Worley, USAF; and her nephews, Jordan Michael Worley and Greg Worley. She is survived by her husband, Roy Weldon Hartwick, whom she joyfully married on March 13, 1991. She is also survived by a large and loving family; her brother, Michael Ted Worley and sister-in-law, Glenda Cooley Worley, of Russellville; her son, Todd Franklin Cullen and daughter-in-law, Stephanie Allen Cullen of New York City; her daughter, Kelly Jo Sapp and son-in-law, Michael Shane Sapp, of Broomfield, Colo.; and her grandchildren, Riley Marie Cullen, Piper Anne Cullen, and Joshua Michael Cullen, all of New York City, and Grover Franklin Sapp and Clementine Michael Sapp, of Broomfield; her nieces, Tammy Worley Andrews of Dallas, and Kara Rachel Worley Jones of Warren; and her nephew, Mark Worley. The graveside service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, at Ball Hill Cemetery in Russellville with the Rev. Shane Sapp officiating and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. The online obituary and guestbook are available at www.shinnfuneral.com.
