Maudie May Drinkwater

Maudie May Drinkwater, 76, of Perryville, Ark. passed away on November 24, 2017. Maudie was born on February 3, 1941 in Houston, Ark. to William Guffey and Geneva Holdridge Guffey. Maudie was a homemaker and worked in the shoe department at Walmart for many years. Maudie really enjoyed the outdoors and her and her husband loved hunting and fishing together. Maudie was of the Baptist faith. Maudie is preceded in death by her parents, William and Geneva, her first husband, William Calvert, two sisters, two brothers, and her great-granddaughter, Stephanie Lauren. Maudie is survived by her loving husband Paul Drinkwater, her son, William (Terry) Calvert, two brothers, one sister, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 28th, 2017 at 1pm with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. at Houston Assembly of God Parsonage. Maudie will be buried at May Cemetery in Houston, Ark. following the service.
