Opal Arnold Carter

Opal Arnold Carter, 94, a resident of Lincoln, passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born July 9, 1923, in Addle, Okla., the daughter of Ernest and Ethel (Green) Arnold. She was preceded in death by husband Milburn Carter, one brother Delton Arnold and two sisters Irene Icenogle and Mary Shelton. Survivors include three children Milburn Carter Jr., Shirley Lawrence and Danny Carter; five grandchildren Pam Christian, Terry Bracken, Jimmy Christian, Jason Carter and Cassy Spoonemore; ten great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, Nov. 27, 2017, 6-8 p.m. at the Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove.
