Bradley Scott Morris, 61, of Springdale, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at the Earlene Howard Hospice Home in Springdale. Brad was born on December 13, 1955 in Ashland, Kentucky, a son of Bobby Scott Morris and Faye Jones Morris. He married Sheila Faye Allen on November 19, 1977 in Bentonville, Arkansas. Brad owned and operated an Exxon service station and U Haul dealership in Fayetteville for 19 years, after which he raised beef cattle on his farm and went to work for Wal-Mart, being an assistant manager in several of the stores in the area for almost 20 years. He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Siloam Springs and enjoyed traveling, reading, fishing, hunting, cooking/baking, and watching sports. He is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Sheila Morris of the home; one son, Scott Morris of the home; one daughter, Jillian and husband Cameron Ramoly of Springdale; his parents, Bobby and Faye Morris of Lowell; one brother, Jon Morris (Trish) of Greenwood, Ark.; three sisters, Beverly Krug (Terry) of Tontitown, Cindy Morris of Lowell, and Joy Cornish (Kevin) of Starkville, Miss.; along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral home in Siloam Springs on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel. Pastor Gary Wheat and Pastor Jon Morris will officiate the service. Burial will be conducted at the Elm Springs Cemetery under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
