Myrtle Lee Harvey Johnson, the onlychild of the late Monroe and Lee Ethel Harvey. She departed this life september 14, 2017 at the age of 88 years. She converted at the age of 13 years old in 1943 at St. Mark Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Lee Calcote and she remained a faithful and devoted member for 75 years. She was a member of the junior choir. In 1951 she joined the Senior Choir and down through the years she served as Secretary and Annual Program Chairperson. She was a member of Dunbar Community Center Senior Citizens Program for more than 25 years.She attended South End Elementary School and graduated from Dunbar High School in May 1948. She was united in Holy matrimony to the late Booker Johnson on November 13, 1958. She was a retired employee for Kellwood Industries over 35 years. She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Thomas Ray (Mickey) Harvey, of Little Rock, Ark., eight grandchildren, Rosalyn Harvey-Brown, Kimberly Jones of Little Rock, Katrina Harvey-Mosby of Conway, Shaina, April and Ashley all of Little Rock, Jamaal Harvey of Nashville, Tenn.; Dedrick and( Michaela) Beard of Little Rock, 10 great-grandchildren, Brandon, Courtney, Frank, Kiara, LaTrina, Kayuana, Kaedon, Ka"Lon, Cali, Khyla, Kaylen,Khloe,Dedrick III,and Myles; one great-great-grandchild, Carsyn Jaye Smith; four cousins, Oreathia, Anansis, Garland and Cleophus; four stepsons, Robert, Mark, Willie and Stephan and two step-daughters, Debraand Marsha; one God daughter, Alma Smith. Faithful caregivers, Lenora and Jessie Bohlar. Funeral services will be Friday, September 22, 2017, 10:30 a.m. at St. Mark Baptist Church, 5722 W. 12th St. Services entrusted to Premier Funeral Home, 1518 S. Battery St., Little Rock, Ark. 72202.
