Marian J. Weaver Frizzell, age 84, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018, in her home surrounded by loving family. Marian was born December 11, 1933, in West Point, Ark., to the late Lawrence Earl and Maxine Bailey Weaver. Mrs. Frizzell was a retired registered school nurse for the Star City School District, where she was known as Nana, and an accountant for over 63 years for the family business, Frizzell Food Center, Frizzell Auto Supply, and Frizzell Shopping Center. She loved her family and grandchildren deeply and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Star City. Survivors include her husband, William H. "Bill" Frizzell of Star City; a son, Ronnie Frizzell of Little Rock; a daughter, Rhonda Mullikin and husband David McCoy of Star City; sister, Glenda Martin of Stuttgart; and her grandchildren, Candace Mullikin Ashcraft and husband Kyle, and Megan Mullikin and fiancé Austin Logan. Visitation will be held Monday, April 2, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at the First Baptist Church in Star City, with Bro. Don Borland and Dr. Marcus Rogers officiating. Burial will be at Drake Cemetery. Pallbearers are Dean Shockley, Zack Smith, Terry Smith, Kyle Ashcraft, Austin Logan, Paul Wilson, and Bobby Beard. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City.
