Ross L. Gentry

Ross L. Gentry, 94, of Benton, passed away on April 1, 2018. He was born on May 7, 1923 in Benton, Ark., to the late Fate and Ann-Belle (Drennen) Gentry. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Ronald Gentry; one brother, Titus Gentry; and one sister, Billie Bucher. Ross was a U.S. Army Veteran, a carpenter, and an avid outdoorsman. Survivors include his wife, Ruby L. Gentry of the home; one daughter, Brenda Burrow (Travis) of Benton; four grandchildren, LeAnne Earnest, Scott Earnest, Ronald Gentry, and Randy Gentry; one brother, Don Gentry of Bauxite; and many great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be conducted beginning at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Hicks Cemetery, with Bro. Terry Sayers officiating.
