Albert Clayborn Mitchell

Albert Clayborn "Clay" Mitchell of Little Rock, Ark. departed this earthly life on March 28, 2018, at UAMS. Clay received his education through the Little Rock Public School System, entering Horace Mann Senior HS in September 1966. Afterwards, Clay served his country through the US Navy receiving an honorable discharge. Struggling to accept Clay as a memory, he leaves a sister, Ms. Wanda J. Mitchell; son, Victor Davis; one granddaughter, Victoria Davis; one great-granddaughter, Khali Ann Davis, all of Little Rock, Ark., and a host of cousins and countless friends. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018, 1 p.m. Visitation will be Friday, April 6, 2018, 2-4 p.m. Both services will be at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S. Chester Street, Little Rock, Ark., 501-372-1305.
