Jimmy Carl Hester

Jimmy Carl Hester, age 79, of Perryville, Ark., died on Thursday, April 12, 2018. He was born March 21, 1939 in Hot Springs, Ark., a son of the late O.F. "Frenchy" Hester and Betty Zoe Markham Hester. He was a retired Little Rock Police Officer, Perry County Deputy, and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his daughter, Sheila (Greg) Jeffries of Conway; grandchildren, Kristin (Karen) Jetts of Morrilton; Joshua Jeffries of Conway; great-grandchildren, Ellie Jetts of Morrilton; brothers and sisters, Robert (Jerry) Hester, Kenneth (Donna) Hester, and Carolyn Kidd all of Perryville; and by a host of nieces and nephews. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Albright. Funeral services: 10 a.m. Monday, April 16, at Immanuel Church of Nazarene. Burial will be at Thornburg Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home in Morrilton.
