Sheilah Clark, 77, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, died peacefully in her home Wednesday, April 11, 2018. She was born June 14, 1940, in Wadena, Iowa to Clement and Naydia Messerli. Sheilah was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Hot Springs. She was a wonderful homemaker, cook, and baker for family and friends. Sheilah also worked as a legal secretary before working in accounting. She married Charles Clark on December 29, 1959 in Waterloo, Iowa, celebrating 58 years of marriage last December. Sheilah was preceded in death by her parents; son, Daryn; daughter, Julie; and seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, Charles; son, Christopher (Cheryl); daughter-in-law, Leslie; eight grandchildren, Barrett, Rachel, Caitlan, Colin, Kathleen, Kayla, Mary Laura and Griffin; great-granddaughter, Harley Clare. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father George Sanders officiating. Burial will be at Crestview Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations in her behalf be sent to their favorite charity, the American Cancer Society or the Elizabeth's Hope, c/o Roseann Henry, Weill Cornell Pediatric Brain & Spine Center, 525 East 68th Street, Box 99, New York, N.Y., 10065.
