Jetchko Nikolaev Kiossev

Jetchko Nikolaev Kiossev PhD, 66, of Little Rock died Tuesday, April 17, 2018. Born in Popovo, Bulgaria on March 21, 1952 he was the son of Nikolay and Ganka Stoyanova Kiossev. He received his Master's Degree in Molecular Biology and his PhD in Biochemistry at Sofia University in Sofia, Bulgaria. His post-doctoral fellowship was completed at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at UAMS in Little Rock. He was a research scientist and assistant professor at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, UAMS, NCTR, and OUHSC. He is survived by his wife, Svetlana Kiosseva; a son, Nikolay Kiossev of Little Rock; a brother, Ivan Kiossev of Varna, Bulgaria and other relatives in Bulgaria.
