Ruth Moore

Ruth Moore, 91, of Cabot, Arkansas went to be with her Heavenly Father on April 24, 2018.She was born August 26, 1926 in Quitman, Arkansas to Benton and Jerusha Atterberry. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Cabot. Ruth retired from AT&T after working there for 19 years. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Hale of Cabot; two grandchildren, Tracy (Ivon) Smith of Little Rock and Billy (Teressa) Hale of Cabot; five great-grandchildren, Ashley Owens of Little Rock, Jesse Smith of Little Rock, Matthew Hale of Cabot, Misty Abbey of Little Rock, and Lee Morris of Cabot; two sisters, Ruby Beene of Benton, Ona Rockwell of Cabot; and two special nieces, Barbara Allen and Hayley Sample both of Cabot. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. The family wishes to thank the staff at South Ridge Assisted Living and most recently Greystone Nursing and Rehab for the excellent care they gave Ruth. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Victory Baptist Church in Cabot, with burial in Mt.
