John Aubrey Glover Sr.

John Aubrey Glover, Sr. passed Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at the VA Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. John, Sergeant 1st Class, a 22-year Army veteran, served a tour of duty in the Korean War and two tours of duty in the Vietnam War. He was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church, Arkansas City and a community leader. He is survived by his wife, Pearl Glover; three sons: Alexander Glover of Arkansas City, John Glover Jr. and Anthony Glover (Jennifer) of Triangle, Virginia; one step-son, Vincent Kountz (Gwen) of West Bloomfield, Michigan; eight grand, nine great-grand, two great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. The Family Hour will be held Friday, August 3, 2018, at 7 p.m., at the Willis Funeral Home, McGehee, Arkansas. Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church, Arkansas City on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at 1 p.m. Services entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, 101 Park Street, McGehee, Ark.
