Mary Magdeline Smith, 81, of Ward, formerly of Des Arc, died Sunday. Survivors include three daughters, Janice (Tim) Sears, Tressia (Kevin) Henard, Phyllis (Ricky) Pirtle, three grandchildren, Bradley (Brittany) Sears, David (Kayla) Sears, Jonathan Pirtle, three great-grandchildren, Kasen Sears, Drake Sears, Sawyer Sears, two brothers, Tommy Stricklin, Samuel Stricklin, one sister, Anne Marie Lemings. Visitation is 10 a.m. Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Lakeside Missionary Baptist Church with funeral services immediately following at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Sandhill Cemetery by Garth Funeral Home. www.garthfuneralhome.com.
