Cleo Marie Brewer, 77, of Mount Vernon, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018. She was born on May 4, 1941 in Valliant, Oklahoma to Cleve Naylor and Maggie West Naylor. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Norman and Billy Naylor; one sister, Vivian Hall; father-in-law Vardmon Brewer; mother-in-law, Avaline Brewer; and four half-brothers. Cleo worked as a teacher's aide at Mount Vernon Schools and was a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church. She loved getting her hair and nails done. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and they visited every state in the United States of America except Alaska. She kept a detailed journal of their travels and every place they went. She had a kind heart and would help anyone in need. She will be remembered best as a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved all of her grandkids and watching their games. She truly loved her family and her church family. Cleo is survived by her husband of 56 years and 8 months, Waymon Brewer; three sons, Greg Brewer, (Kim), Paul Brewer (Norma), and Mark Brewer (Sandy); three sisters, Almeta Sudik (Leroy), Oleta Melton, and Karon Teurman (Chester); one brother, Ricky Naylor (Cindi); seven grandchildren, TaLisa Sebourn (Sean), Krystal Brewer, Torren Brewer, Kayla Robinson (Ross), Marcus Brewer (Chasiti), Maggie Brewer, Kyle Brewer (Katlyn); 12 great-grandchildren; and three brothers-in-law. Don Hall, Daymon Brewer (Patsy), and David Brewer (Kathy). Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, Arkansas.
