Leon Gunter

Leon Gunter, 88, of Scott, passed away on Aug. 3, 2018. He was born March 21, 1930 to Make and Icy Gunter. He is survived by his wife, Jean Gunter; daughters, Johnny Sue (Bobby) Rhodes, Gail (Michael) McCool, and Sandra Strickland; sons, Ralph (Shirley) McKenzie, Junior McKenzie, Jack McKenzie, Michael (Marsha) Caldwell, and Gary (Brenda) Caldwell; daughter-in-law, Michelle Russell; sister-in-law, Phyllis Anderson; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Leon is preceded in death by sons, Billy Wayne Gunter, Glenn McKenzie and Donald Ray McKenzie; one brother; and three sisters. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday Aug. 7, 2018 at the Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, at the funeral home.
