Charles Robert "Robbie" Fread

Charles Robert "Robbie" Fread, 54, of DeWitt, passed away August 7, 2018. He was born March 10, 1964, in DeWitt, to Charles Ed and Shirley Edwards Fread. Robbie worked for almost 25 years as a law enforcement and correctional officer. He was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. He loved his family, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Robbie was preceded in death by his father, Charles Ed Fread. He is survived by his wife Brenda Paxton Fread, and their children Heather and Jerry Martin, Rachel and Preston Mitchell, and Hunter and Jordan Longnecker. He is also survived his mother Shirley Fread; sister Charlene Fread Wingfield; brother Sam Colvert; and seven grandchildren: Madilynn, Gaberiel, Mamie, and Gavin Martin; Carson and Camron Mitchell; and Mary Leighton Longnecker; a special aunt, Elizabeth Elrod; and many other family and friends.
