She was preceded in death by her husband, Master Sergeant Edward Forte Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Barber of Little Rock; son, Edward Forte Jr.; and her brother, Wayne George of Arizona; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
