Rufus Whitmore

Rufus Whitmore Sr., 92, of Little Rock, Ark., went home to be with his Lord on August 9, 2018. He was born December 17, 1925, in Clough, Ark. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Florence Whitmore; wife, Bernice Whitmore; and five siblings. In 2012, Mr. Whitmore was recognized as one of the longest serving members of Liberty Hill Baptist Church. He was celebrated in 2006 with an Arkansas Spirit of Hospitality Award for his longstanding service (over 65 years) as an employee of Franke's Cafeteria.
