Sharron Kay (Simpson) Bell, 73, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, August 12, 2018. "Sharry" was born to Oliver Herman Simpson and Mamie Elizabeth (Pfeiffer) Simpson on May 11, 1945. She is survived by her husband, Ret. Naval Commander Lyndon Ray Bell, Sr. of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and one brother Billy Joe Simpson of Carlisle, Arkansas. Sharry had two children who both reside in White County, Arkansas, Traci Chanin Latture and Glen Bass, and Ray Latture. She had three stepsons, Ray and Kim Bell, Jason and Jelena Bell and Howard and Amanda Bell. Sharry was known for her Electrolux Sales where her salesmanship and honesty made many housewives happy owners. Areus now owns the product line. Sharry was National Sales winner on several occasions. She was a Christian and a lifetime member of VFW Ladies' Auxiliary. She had a love for children and often had a carload out for weekend trips. Sharry is survived by 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren in addition to her children. She had a heart for people and loved her friends and family without reservation. She will be missed by her church families and many friends and family. Heaven is a better place with this Christian lady now cancer free. Memorials may be made to Hebron Church, Macedonia Baptist Church in Pittsburg, Texas or to a cancer research center of choice. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
