Johnny Calvin Burke

Mr. Johnny Calvin Burke of Hope, Ark., passed from this life into eternal rest on Friday, Aug. 17, 2018 in Heather Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on Nov. 12, 1935 in DeAnn, Ark., to Annie May Lowe and Jessie Calvin Burke. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Flowers Burke; a grandson and his mother, Nate and Jodi Burke; two step-daughters, Dana Cox (Bryan), and Julie Paddie; step-grandchildren, Will Cox, Hunter Sears (Ashley), Zac Cox (Lindsy), Heather Sears Formby (Jonathan); two step-great-grandchildren, Ellie Ann Sears and Emerie Grace Formby. He is also survived by a special nephew, Bo Burke and wife Tina. He was predeceased by his parents; a son, John Gilbert Burke; a grandson, Jackson Calvin Burk; brothers, James Hoyt Burke and Ralph Burke; sisters, Arlene Willis, Sue Roe, Ann Woodward and Belva June Glanton. Graveside Service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018 at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home of Hope.
