Martha Ann Knudsen

MARTHA ANN KNUDSEN, 69, of Jacksonville, Ark., went home to the Lord on Thursday, Aug 16, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband John Knudsen, her parents, Gilbert and Edna Hillman. She is survived by brothers, Walter (Claudia) Hillman, and David Hillman, her step children, Bonnie (Mark) Connelly, William Knudsen, Robin (Rob) Moody, Jerry (Barbara) Knudsen, Connie (Bill) Snider, and Clayton (Dee) Knudsen. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and her cat "Angel". She married John the love of her life on Valentine's Day 1976. When she married John, she became the instant Mom of 6 children. Martha spent her life caring for others, starting with her Mother, her father and her six step children. She retired from Arkansas Children Hospital where she worked in the Neonatal Unit as a nurse. After retiring, she spent her time caring for John until he passed away in April 2015. In recent years, even though her health was declining she still enjoyed taking day trips with Connie and visiting her favorite restaurants. Visitation will be Monday, August 20, at 9:00 a.m. and funeral services at 10:00 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills. Entombment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
