Sallie Merritt Starker

SALLIE MERRITT STARKER, 90, died on August 12, 2018 in Little Rock, Ark. She was born in Duluth, Minn., on July 13, 1928 to Colonel Carleton E. and Mae C. Merritt. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Brigadier General Joseph B. Starker, brother, Thomas J. Merritt, son, Thomas M. Starker, grandson, John Bradley Witherspoon. She is survived by her two daughters, Susan S. Witherspoon of Little Rock, Ark., and Sallie S. Melton of Leavenworth, Kan., five grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
