Junior Lee Powell

Junior Lee Powell, 87, of Springdale, passed away August 18, 2018. He was born April 19, 1931 in Wesley, Arkansas to Mirl and Bertha Davis Powell. Junior was a veteran of both the Army and Navy. He retired from Daisy BB manufacturing in Rogers. He enjoyed spending time with his family, singing, dancing and weekend garage sales. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Blanche of 36 years, brother Don Powell and sister, Lois Satterfield. Survivors include his daughter, Kitty Powell Beebe and husband Jason of Cave Springs; one grandson, Caiden Beebe; two brothers, Jim Powell and wife Euella of Siloam Springs; Jerry Powell and wife Mary of Springdale; five sisters, Merlene Robertson and husband Gordon, Barbara Hall and husband Dave, Sue Ward and husband Jerry, Doris Carter and husband Virgil, and Joyce Glenn and husband Tom all of Springdale. Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 22 at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale starting at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery with Military Honors.
