Billy Vernon Whaley of Lowell, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday August 22, 2018. He was born on December 7, 1945 in Cotton Plant, Arkansas. Bill was a retired Electrician and a Baptist Minister. He was a Deacon at the Sunnyside Baptist in Rogers, Arkansas. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernie and Melvenia Whaley and one sister, Brenda Whaley. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carol Whaley of Lowell, Arkansas; three daughters, Tina Rivera (Rene) of McKinney, Texas, Machelle Raby (Tony) of Bauxite, Arkansas, and Kim Schneider (Jason) of St. Peters, Missouri, one son, Bradley Whaley (Kristy) of Springdale, Arkansas, six grandchildren, Brandi, Chris, Sorsha, Legend, Karrington, and Kennedy, three great-grandchildren, Carson, Brooklyn, Caelum, and six step-grandchildren, two brothers and four sisters. The family will hold services at 11 a.m. on August 25, 2018 at Sunnyside Baptist Church in Rogers, Arkansas. Will be officiated by Brother Rodney Fry and Brother Terry Simmons. The family would like to thank the Circle of Life Care Team for the support and care they contributed to us during this time. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to the American Heart Association.
