Roy Lester Jones

Roy Lester Jones, age 71, went to be with our Lord, August 21, 2018 in Little Rock. He was born April 29, 1947 in Harrisburg, Arkansas and had careers in municipal utilities, construction and distribution. Mr. Jones a man of Christ was a family man, avid hunter, outdoorsman and member of Marshall Road Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, daughters, Lisa and Donnie Lee of Lonoke, Kim Morrow of Jonesboro, sons, Billy and Crystal Jones of Marion, Darren and Tanya Schenebeck of Lonoke, 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several siblings, Nancy Romans of Jonesville, Louisiana, Tommy Jones of Boyd, Texas, Rita Sefers of Bay, Arkansas, and Jimmy Jones of McRae, Arkansas and many other family members and friends. Memorial and life celebration service will take place at Marshall Road Baptist Church at 821 Marshall Road in Jacksonville, Arkansas on Saturday, August 25th at 2 p.m. Memorials and donations can be made to Marshall Road Baptist Church Missions Ministry (mission trip 2019) in lieu of flowers. http://marshallroadbaptist.org E-giving – mission trip 2019.
