Ronald Faber

Ronald Faber, age 77, of Hot Springs, died Tuesday, August 28, 2018. He was born on February 24, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Walter Faber and Francis Sasak Faber. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deanna Faber; his parents; one brother, Ken Faber; and his loyal black lab companion, Maggie. Ronald was a United States Marine Corps veteran. After 32 years, he retired as the general manager of the traffic department for Ryerson Steel Company in Chicago. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Gail Faber of Darien, Illinois; one daughter, Carrie Faber of Las Vegas, Nevada; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Marilyn Faber of Alexandria, Virginia; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Joan and Howard Bermel of Hempstead, Texas, Karen and Glenn Linhart of Lemont, Illinois and Denise Buti of St. Charles, Illinois; numerous nieces, nephews and a couple of wonderful neighbors.
