Salvadore Joseph Marchese

Salvadore Joseph Marchese, age 83, of North Little Rock, passed away August 29, 2018. He was born August 6, 1935, in LaPlace, Louisiana, to Joseph and Frances Marchese. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 52 years, Dorothy Evelyn Marchese, and a sister, Lucy Luyett. Mr. Marchese was a Class of 1954 graduate of Catholic High School and attended LRU (now UALR). He was a member of the National Guard for several years and worked as an electrician for Westinghouse – Philips Lighting. Mr. Marchese, along with his wife Dorothy, was an avid square dancer for over 40 years. He is survived by four sons, Eric (Jeanneane) Fraser of Maumelle, Ted (Tonia) Hofmeister of North Little Rock, Larry (Erika) Marchese of Johnstown, Colorado, and James Marchese of Sherwood; a sister, Margaret (Don) Duff of San Luis Obispo, California; a brother, Vincent Marchese of Little Rock; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, September 1, at 11 a.m. with funeral services at 12: noon at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock.
