Joe Fred Williams, 86, of Hampton died Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at his home. He was born December 30, 1931 in Calhoun County, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Bertha Williams; his first wife, Florence Williams; one son, Greg Williams; and two daughters, Vicki Hawks and Debbie Williams. He was a member of Faustina Baptist Church near Hampton; and an Air Force veteran. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Rose Gorman Williams of Hampton; one son, Jerry and his wife Shelly Williams of Pearisburg, Va.; three step-daughters, Teresa Huff of Conway, Tammy Jo Black of Searcy, Mona Gayle Goodwin of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Jeremy Williams, Christopher and Jessica Hawk and many great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Faustina Baptist Church with funeral services beginning at 11 a.m. Burial at Faustina Cemetery. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
