Linda CarrCenterton, AR, 1959 - 2018 0comment
Linda Jolene Carr, 59, of Centerton passed away Monday December 10, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Rogers. She was born March 25, 1959 in Larned, Kansas the daughter of Charles and Mary Fleming.
Linda was a Christian woman who enjoyed spending time with her friends, family, children but most of all her grandchildren. She was an amazing mother and a loving, caring and compassionate woman who loved serving others. Linda had an infectious laugh that would bring joy to any room. Her love for Jesus and her family are engraved in the hearts of all that had the honor of knowing her. Linda lived in Northwest Arkansas for 37 years after moving from Catoosa, Oklahoma in 1981.
She was employed most recently with the Rogers School District with the Transportation Department, she also worked with the Bentonville School District for many years working in Administration.
She was preceded in death by: her brother; Chuck Fleming. Linda is survived by: her parents; Charles and Mary Fleming of Big Cabin, Oklahoma, one son; Jeremy Carr and his wife Tina, of Bella Vista, one daughter; Jennifer Thompson, of Centerton, two sisters; Becky Caudill and her husband Eric, of Huntsville, Dana Rogers and her husband Chris, of Catoosa, Oklahoma; sister in law Christel Fleming, six grandchildren, and her beloved dog Isabella.
Visitation will be: Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at New Hope Assembly of God Church located in Rogers. A celebration of Linda's life will be: Friday at 10 a.m. at New Hope Assembly of God Church with Pastor James Longmate officiating. Graveside service will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. in Oklahoma at Mount Herman Cemetery located in Jay, Oklahoma. Memorials may be sent to: The American Lung Association.
