Nellie Bradshaw Bridges

Nellie Bradshaw Bridges, known as "Miss Nellie", age 87, of Morrilton passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2018. She was born Sept. 1, 1931, in Morrilton, a daughter of the late Albert Freeman Bradshaw and Jewel Tucker Bradshaw. Miss Nellie was retired from her home operated Monogram Business after 48 years and a former Levi Strauss employee. Miss Nellie was a faithful member of Lewisburg Missionary Baptist Church. She was a true patriot who loved her country and the Lord. Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Bridges Stobaugh (Ray) of Kenwood; sons, Mike Bridges of Morrilton and Steve Bridges (Tammy) of Stuttgart; grandchildren, Michael Bridges (Bobbie) of Morrilton, April Gann (Charles) of Cabot, Amanda Wooten (Michael) of McRae, and Charlie Bridges of Stuttgart; and six great-grandchildren. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Bradshaw. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17 at Harris Chapel with Bro. Jon Holbrook officiating. Burial will be at Plummerville Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
