Emeric Ray Strange

Emeric Ray Strange, Jr., 62, of Scott, Arkansas, died February 2, 2018. Born January 28, 1956 in Warren, Arkansas, he was the son of Emeric Ray Strange, Sr. and Shirley Reynolds Strange. Ray was retired from Siemens Electric Motor Division after 37 years of service. Ray was avid gun collector who also enjoyed target shooting, hunting, fishing and boating. Preceded in death by his father, he is survived by his wife of 40 years, Brenda Cook Strange; daughter, Angela Calhoun; mother, Shirley Strange; sister, Kay Coaley, and grandson, Tyler Calhoun, all of Scott. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 5th in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th St., Little Rock, 72204 with Brother Herman Hutton officiating. Burial will follow at Mulberry Cemetery, England, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. Monday until service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Pulaski County Humane Society.
