Michael Shane Childress

Michael Shane Childress, age 46 of McGehee passed away February 1, 2018 at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. He was born November 17, 1971 in Stuttgart, Ark. to Fran and Roger Childress. Shane was a loving son, brother and uncle. He was he was in his element when with his friends in the outdoors hunting and fishing. He was a 1990 graduate of McGehee High School. He attended elementary school in England, Ark. Other than his parents he is survived by his grandfather James P. White Sr., of McGehee, one brother and sister-in-law Josh and Brandi Childress and one niece, Piper and one nephew, Jack Ryan all of North Little Rock, preceding him in death were his grandparents, Marion L. Byrd, of Benton, Rena White, of McGeehee, and Fern Childress and Charles Childress, both of England. Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 pm Sunday February 4, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall. A memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church in McGehee. Arrangements by Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee.
