Allene Rittman Lammers

Allene Rittman Lammers, 95, widow of Harold F. Lammers, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018, at Crestpark Retirement Center. Mrs. Lammers was born Aug. 22, 1922, in Stuttgart to Fred J. and Verona Morgan Rittman. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and was active in LWML and Ladies Aid. She was also involved in the local hospital auxiliary and the Good Sams Mallard Club. She had a passion for playing bridge, but she loved nothing more than being with her family. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Harold A. Lammers; a grandson, Scott Lammers; four brothers; and two sisters. Survivors are her son, Johnny Lammers (Cheri) of Stuttgart; daughter-in-law, Judy Lammers of Stuttgart; and four grandchildren, Brent Lammers (Alberto), Ranae Lammers Ward (Scott), Kimberley Lammers Meek (Dusty) and Christopher Lammers (Whitney); six great-grandchildren, Logan Ward (Rachel), Carter Ward, Cooper Meek, Cady Brooke Meek, Evie Lammers and Allie Lammers; and one great-great-granddaughter, Riley Ward. Visitation will be 1 p.m. Friday followed by funeral services, officiated by Pastor Don White, at 2 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church with burial in Lone Tree Cemetery by Turpin Funeral Home.
