Joan Kathryn Koon Farmer

Joan Kathryn Koon Farmer, 88, of Stuttgart passed away Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018, while in Baptist Health-Little Rock. She was born July 26, 1929. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Farmer Shelton. Survivors include her daughter, Celia Farmer McCorkindale (Matt) of Stuttgart; granddaughters, Megan McCorkindale Lorge (Cody) of Little Rock and Leigh Shelton Esquivel (Paul) of Stuttgart; grandson, Joshua McCorkindale of Stuttgart; and a host of other family members and friends. Kathryn's hobbies were sewing, knitting, going to the Senior Citizen Center, traveling to Sheridan visiting with family and taking care of her cats that she loved dearly. Kathryn was also a soon-to-be great-grandmother. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at Sheridan Cemetery, 200 E. Church St., Sheridan, Ark.
