Embry Kindy, age 95 of Bryant, passed away on February 7, 2018. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late, Sydney and Rena Chrestman on February 18, 1922. She loved to garden, craft, travel the world and spend time with family. Embry's yard could have easily been the cover of a magazine. She was a member of United Missionary Baptist Church and the owner/operator of Embry's Beauty Shop. Embry is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd O. Kindy, her parents, three sisters, two brothers, one great-grandchild, Dylan Hamby, and one great great-grandchild, Presley Hunt. Embry leaves behind a daughter, Faye White; son, Ronald Kindy, Sr.; four grandchildren, Mike Kingrey (Jan), Rhonda Rowton (Jason), Ronaee' Hamby (Allen), and Ronald Kindy, Jr.; seven great-grandchildren, John, Jarred, Brittany, Dustin, Baylee, Devin and Ashlynn; five great great-grandchildren, Brodie, Braxton, Jaxon, Harley and Gracie Jo; bonus daughter, Diana Kindy Ramsey, and a host of family and friends who love and miss her dearly. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 9:30-10:30 at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home (located at 4212 AR-5, Bryant, Ark., 72022) followed by a graveside service at the Little Rock National Cemetery at noon. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Saline Memorial Hospice.
