Aaron Allen Stallmann

Aaron Allen Stallman, 39, of Benton, Ark., was made perfect by God on Friday, February 9th after a long and hard-fought battle with colon cancer. Born September 10, 1978, Aaron was humble and kind to all who knew him and he was unwavering in his faith and direction in life. Growing up in Bryant, he learned to build and fix literally anything and made many lifelong friends at an early age. He earned an Eagle Scout in 1993. He was a 1996 graduate of Bryant High School, where he excelled in academics and sports. To no one's surprise, he went on to major in engineering at the University of Arkansas and graduated in 2000 with a BS degree in civil engineering and later earned his PE accreditation. He worked at Garver, where he was an owner and led the Arkansas water team for the company. While professionally successful, his priorities were always in line. He served as an Elder at Zion Lutheran Church in Avilla. As a son, he honored his parents and walked the admirable path. As a husband, he was loyal and faithful. As a father, he was loving and intentional. As a friend, he was genuine and real. And as a professional engineer, he was a man of his word who earned the respect of his colleagues and clients. He also loved the outdoors, where he spent as much time as Jayme would let him in a duck blind, deer stand or golf course. He loved calling the Hogs and he loved spending time helping coach his son's youth baseball team. Aaron is survived by his wife of 17 years, Jayme; daughter, Klara (12) and son, AJ (Aaron Allen Stallmann Jr.) (9); father, Leonard "Lenny" Stallmann and mother, Gwen Congiardo Stallmann; brother, Jason Stallmann; niece, Becca Stallmann and nephew, Hunter Stallmann; uncles, Roger Stallmann (Jencye) of California, Myran Ambeau (Jackie) of Austin, Ark., and Tippy Ambeau (Donna) of Florida; aunt Shirley Hohgrefe (Richard) of Chester, Illinois. Pallbearers will be Hunter Stallmann, Jordan Johnson, Scott Schrader, Corey Green, Steve Mallett, Clint Bissett, Paul Strickland and Steven Moore. The family extends their deepest appreciation to the staff at Carti and to all of his caregivers. A celebration of Aaron's life will be at Ashby Funeral Home, 108 Narroway in Benton, Ark. Visitation will be Thursday, February 15th from 6-8 p.m. Funeral will be Friday, February 16th, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to the Stallmann Educational Trust for his children Klara and AJ and mailed to: Garver, attention Trustee, 4701 Northshore Drive, North Little Rock, Ark. 72118 or can be dropped off at any First Security Bank location.
