Carol Coleman Lewis, 73, of Pine Bluff, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Lewis was born December 3, 1944, in Ft. Riley, Kansas, to the late Hugo E. and Pauline Simonin Coleman. She was reared and received her education in Pine Bluff, where she graduated from Dollarway High School in 1962. After high school, she attended the Henderson State University in Arkadelphia. She married James Cleo Lewis, April 24, 1964, in Pine Bluff. Mrs. Lewis worked for Simmons First National Bank where she retired as Manager of the Savings Center in 2012. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church. She was also a member of NAWIC (National Association of Women in Construction). She was a compassionate volunteer for many years at the East Side Food Pantry. Mrs. Lewis was a very loving, caring, giving, kind and generous person who loved the outdoors which included playing softball, going to the lake, hunting, fishing, and riding four wheelers. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, James Cleo Lewis of Pine Bluff; two sons, Bryan Lewis of Pine Bluff and Michael (Brantley) Lewis of Hot Springs; three granddaughters, Leah Paige and Lindsey R. Lewis, both of Russellville, and Avery Lewis of Hot Springs; and her brother, Ret. General Richard E. Coleman of Vicksburg, Mississippi. Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Robert "Bobby" Coleman and her sister, Paula Smith. The family will receive friends Monday, February 19, 2018, 5:00 to 7:00 PM, at Robinson's. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 20, 2018, 2:00 PM, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with Reverend Josh Dutton officiating. Online condolences: www.ralphrobinsonandson.com.
